Announcing: HQ 3.0.2, HQ 3.0 EE, and Essay Contest

It’s a busy time at Hyperic. Here’s a rundown of what we released today:

1. Hyperic HQ 3.0.2 - Here’s the latest rev of our Open Source systems management software. This release has more efficient database utilization, improving performance. Download from SourceForge.net. Support is now available for HQ! See details.
2. Hyperic HQ 3.0 Enterprise Extensions - This release takes the solid-as-a-rock Open Source HQ and adds a few things, such as policy-based alerting, dashboard access control, and aggregate alerting. See the press release for details. Download a trial - the trial is only limited by the number of devices you can monitor (3), not feature set.
