Cote - Hyperic and RSS
September 8th, 2006 John Mark
As Redmonk’s Cote has noted, Hyperic HQ has a couple of nice, simple RSS feeds built-in. These give you great flexbility when monitoring the status of your web infrastructure, allowing you to view the feeds from any RSS reader. Right now, those feeds are for trouble alerts and “favorites” - whatever systems, services or applications you’ve designated as ones to watch. We are adding more feeds for future releases, as well as some of the other functionality mentioned in Cote’s post.
This is the 2nd mention of HQ’s RSS capability - TechTarget published an article in August on the topic of RSS in systems management.
