Hyperic Adds Ten Customers, Rolls Out 200 Production Deployments Since Launching Hyperic HQ 3.0 Enterprise Release

Open source systems management leader gains significant customer momentum in just two weeks

San Francisco – April 4, 2007 – Hyperic Inc., the leader in multi-platform, open source systems management, today announced that in the two weeks since introducing the enterprise version of its flagship product Hyperic HQ 3.0, Hyperic has added more than 10 enterprise customers to its roster, including mynewplace.com, Delcan Systems, Videoegg and Europe-based Grupo ISEC and CH5.

Alerting: allows alerting definitions to be broadly applied to groups of resources, aggregating their behavior and providing more meaningful alerts on overall performance of groups of resources

The company also reports that over 200 production deployments have been successfully upgraded to the new version in the first two weeks. This is inclusive of both open source and enterprise customers, and reflects only the deployments the company works with directly.

CloudStatus Provides Free, Real-Time Performance Information for Amazon Web Services

Velocity Conference—San Francisco, Calif.—June 23, 2008 – Open source web infrastructure management provider Hyperic Inc., (Velocity Booth #6), today launched the beta of Hyperic CloudStatus, the first service to provide an independent view of the health and performance of the most popular cloud on the Internet, Amazon Web Services (AWS). The new service gives businesses that use the cloud the perspective they need to determine the cause of performance changes in their cloud-based web applications. CloudStatus beta is a free service built on the Hyperic HQ management platform and will expand to include additional cloud providers this summer.
