Hyperic Unveils Multi-Tiered Partner Network Program Targeted Towards ISVs, SIs and MSPs

Company Aggressively Expanding Distribution For The Technology That Powers Monitoring For The World’s Leading Web Companies

San Francisco, Calif.—Oct.14, 2008 — Open source web infrastructure management provider Hyperic Inc. today announced the Hyperic Partner Network Program, a comprehensive and tiered expansion of its existing global partner program. This enables companies seeking to deliver value-added management solutions to their customers a faster, proven road to success by incorporating Hyperic’s award-winning software offerings. These include web application performance monitoring software, Hyperic HQ; cross-platform, cross-language library and command-line tool SIGAR; and CloudStatus, Hyperic’s latest product for monitoring the performance of cloud computing environments.

The Hyperic Partner Network Program offers several tiers designed to meet the differing needs of companies interested in white labeling, reselling, or referring Hyperic HQ, SIGAR or CloudStatus. The program also recognizes partners contributing to the Hyperic community and its technology, with the launch of “Hyperic Ready” certification.

Hyperic has more than 30 strategic partnerships around the world, with established and significant momentum in federal and European markets. The expanded Hyperic Partner Network Program comprises four categories:

  • "Powered by Hyperic" OEM Partner Program: best suited to software vendors and MSPs interested in incorporating web infrastructure and application monitoring and management capabilities into their offerings. It enables an organization to cost-effectively go-to-market with a powerful, differentiated management solution, branded as its own. OEM partners can embed into their offerings a monitoring capability that customers are willing to pay for, they can get to market in a fraction of the time, and they can avoid the headaches and challenges of ongoing lifecycle maintenance. Several current OEM partners include Sun Microsystems’ MySQL division, RedHat’s JBoss division, Spring Source, IONA Technologies a subsidiary of Progress Software, and Dalet Digital Media Solutions.
  • "Hyperic Certified" Reseller Partner Program: enables Hyperic strategic partners, including global, regional, and offshore systems integrators, to resell Hyperic HQ Enterprise. This program offers attractive revenues and margins for reselling the software and opens up tremendous services up sell opportunities for installation, customizations, and plug-in development. Several strategic resellers include SpikeSource and SOPERA.
  • The Hyperic Referral Program: rewards partners who identify high quality leads for Hyperic HQ Enterprise Edition with a one-time, referral fee, awarded within 60 days of the sale agreement completion. Potential Referral Partners can apply easily via the Hyperic website.
  • "Hyperic Ready" Program for Software Vendors: allows companies to deliver value-added management solutions to their customers. “Hyperic Ready” technology partners are ISVs, hosting partners, cloud providers, open source software projects and other solutions providers within the Hyperic Partner Network who provide support for their products and services using Hyperic HQ or Hyperic HQ Enterprise.
