Apache ActiveMQ Management Support

Apache ActiveMQ is a fast, open source JMS 1.1 messaging technology developed under the Apache Software Foundation. It delivers clustered, high performance JMS functionality under the Apache open source license and makes use of the variety of high quality open source components managed by the ASF. Hyperic HQ provides the most complete monitoring and management solution for ActiveMQ users through its tight integration with ActiveMQ's JMX APIs. HQ uses ActiveMQ's JMX capabilities to collect information from the JVM as well as metrics from every topic, broker, and connector configured in the environment. HQ's auto discovery feature allows it to automatically detect every aspect of the ActiveMQ installation including Topics, Brokers, and Connectors.

HQ's control capability allows ActiveMQ users to control the server, manage topics, and send messages from a single click. HQ also uses its built-in event management capabilities to track any log event from ActiveMQ and provide it alongside the rest of the monitoring data.
