Apache Geronimo Management Support

Apache Geronimo is a new open source J2EE application server developed under the Apache Software Foundation. It delivers J2EE 1.4 functionality under the Apache open source license and makes use of the variety of high quality open source components managed by the ASF. Hyperic HQ provides the most complete monitoring and management solution for Geronimo users and is actively involved in improving Geronimo's overall manageability and monitorability. HQ uses Geronimo's JMX capabilities to collect information from the JVM as well as individual components deployed in the container. HQ's auto discovery feature allows it to automatically detect every EJB, Queue, Webapp, and connection pool deployed in the container.

HQ's control capability allows Geronimo users to control the server from a single click. HQ also uses its built-in event management capabilities to track any log event from Geronimo and provide it alongside the rest of the monitoring data.
