Microsoft SQL Server is the enterprise database solution used most commonly on the Windows platform. Hyperic HQ's comprehensive support for Windows technology allows it to manage SQL Server databases through the native Windows performance management interfaces. This guarantees the most optimal and complete access to all the metrics that Microsoft SQL Server exposes for both the database engine as well as each individual database instance deployed in the system.
