BEA WebLogic Server is the leading commercial J2EE application server. The JMX-based capabilities of its built in administrative console are used by HQ to provide comprehensive management of Weblogic Domains while allowing you equal visibility into the other parts of your infrastructure that your Weblogic applications depend on.
HQ provides dynamic domain auto-discovery, and granular monitoring and control of every component deployable into Weblogic including Execute Queues, JCA connection pools, Webapps, JMS resources, and Node Manager services. This deep, low overhead monitoring provides administrators with visibility into weblogic internals, as well as the ability to compare and correlate these metrics across a domain.
HQ also provides a complete log and configuration tracking solution for Weblogic which allows administrators to track any event of significance in the environment and use it as a trigger for alerts or to perform problem diagnosis. This capability is built around the monitoring of the Weblogic server log files as well as the monitoring of JMX resources, giving the most complete and uninvasive access into key information about the WLS environment.
HQ's control capability allows administrators to centrally manage Weblogic domains and perform any type of control action against either a server, a domain, or even specific components all from HQ's web based portal. All control actions taken through HQ are recorded for audit and impact analysis purposes.
