The Hyperic HQ Plugin for XenServer manages the XenServer 4.x family of products and collects an extensive list of metrics at the disk, NIC, and virtual machine levels. Additionally, Hyperic HQ for XenServer can directly issue and track common control actions on guest virtual machines.
The Hyperic HQ for XenServer includes additional technology management capabilities such as a variety of web servers, application servers, middleware, databases, operating systems, network devices and much more. Hyperic HQ relies on the native management capabilities of the managed products, and can easily be extended to cover more products through our Plugin Development Kit (PDK), usually with only a few lines of XML.
