SQL Server Monitoring & Management


Microsoft SQL Server is the enterprise database solution used most commonly on the Windows platform. Hyperic's comprehensive support for Windows technology allows it to manage SQL Server databases through the native Windows performance management interfaces. This guarantees the most optimal and complete access to all the metrics that Microsoft SQL Server exposes for both the database engine as well as each individual database instance deployed in the system. Hyperic's SQL Server support also provides Windows friendly service control to allow you to manage your entire SQL Server infrastructure from Hyperic's user interface.

Hyperic's deep monitoring capabilities are complemented by its ability to track any SQL Server event that is reported to the Windows server event log. These messages, combined with Hyperic's ability to track SQL configuration, allows administrators to track specific faults before they become unmanageable, perform impact analysis, and track the behavior of SQL Server internals.
