Network Device Monitoring & Management
Network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls are a key part of any IT environment. HQ compliments its deep coverage of operating systems and application management with support for SNMP based, agentless management of network devices from vendors such as Cisco Systems, F5 Networks, Juniper and others.
Monitoring of these devices is done through standard SNMP MIBs implemented by all vendors. These metrics provide key health and throughput indicators for any network component of your infrastructure. These metrics can then be used for alerting, as well as combined with application and system level metrics to better understand the impact of increased network activity on your environment.
