Network Service Monitoring & Management


Hyperic is designed to allow IT operations to monitor and manage every aspect of their hardware, software, and network infrastructure. In order to facilitate this, Hyperic provides built-in capabilities to manage many of the common network services which are critical to the environment.

This monitoring is done with ease of use, and comprehensive metric coverage in mind. Hyperic users can accurately monitor the health and performance of anything from raw sockets to IMAP servers, to DHCP services. Hyperic also provides event management capabilities which can track errors and responses from any of these protocols to facilitate alerting and problem diagnosis in conjunction with the monitored values.
